Dennis grew up in Mattawamkeag and graduated from Mattawamkeag High School. He earned his B.S. in Business-Economics from the University of Maine. He was captain of the baseball team and inducted into the UMaine Sports and State of Maine Baseball Halls of Fame. He started his insurance career with Aetna Life and Casualty in Hartford, CT and joined STW in 1976. He is married to Jayne and has two children, Justin and Jessica.

Alan writes all lines of commercial Property & Casualty insurance and also includes individual/business health, life, disability and long term care regularly. Incorporate an “overall risk management” approach to your insurance and feel free to call directly with any insurance question. After degrees from Bangor High School and the University of Maine at Orono, he started in the insurance business in 1978 and has been with STW since 1987.

Owen began flying at age 15 and currently holds a commercial license with single-engine, multi-engine and instrument ratings. He has been involved with aviation insurance for 19 years and currently works out of the branch office in Yarmouth, Maine.

Mark has been in the insurance business in maine since 1968. His knowledge of the forest industry, construction and trucking makes him one of the respected leaders in this field of insurance. In 1978 he received the Certified Insurance Counselor designation, putting him in the top 10 percent of insurance professionals in the country. Mark maintains this designation through annual educational updates. He is also a licensed insurance consultant.

Cyndi grew up in Newburgh, graduated from Hampden Academy and attended Husson College. She started her career in insurance at The West Agency in 1977. The West Agency merged with STW in 1981. She is licensed for Property & Casualty Insurance as well as Life & Health. She specializes in small business insurance plans and employee benefits making it easier for business owners to have one agent to handle all their insurance needs.

Ernest was raised and educated in Bangor. He graduated from the University of Maine in Orono. His insurance career began with Metropolitan Life in 1980. He joined STW in 1984. He lives in Bangor with his wife, Beth, and two sons.

Scott was born and raised in Brewer. He graduated from Brewer High School and Eastern Maine Vocational Technical Institute with an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration. He is married to Melissa and has two children. He spends weekends at his camp fly fishing and hunting.

An aviation specialist since 1978, Peg holds a commercial pilot’s license with single-engine, multi-engine and instrument ratings and has attained the insurance industry’s Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter designation. Located in the Yarmouth, Maine office, she works with airport owners, flight schools and individual and corporate aircraft owners.

Larry began his insurance career at STW in 1981. Prior to this, he was employed at Northeast Bank & Trust Co. for three years. Larry specializes in commercial insurnace but handles all lines of coverage. He resides in Brewer with his wife, Darlene, and their 5 children.

A graduate of Old Town High School, her insurance career began in 1975 with Fireman’s Fund in Boston, MA. In 1977 she joined STW as a Customer Service Representative. She left to work for W.L. Thibodeau agency which STW purchased 10 years later. She has risen through the ranks to her present position of agent. She resides in Bangor with her husband, Ricky and daughter.

Shelley started her insurance career in 1985 with STW as a Customer Service Representative. Over the years she worked at Chapman & Drake in Bath and The Varney Agency in Bangor. She is currently the personal lines agent liaison to Bangor Insurance Services, Inc. a subsidiary of Bangor Savings Bank. She resides in Hermon with her two sons.
